Paul is a Senior Lecturer in Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Sydney. As a dramaturg, writer and performer, he is best known for his work in verbatim/documentary theatre, with companies such as version 1.0 and PYT Fairfield, which has been featured at the Sydney Festival (Tribunal, Dorr-e Dari), Ten Days on the Island Festival (Bougainville Photoplay Project), Brisbane Festival and Origins: Festival of First Nations in London (Beautiful One Day).
